lover to his love.
Islam, a religion of spirits is born in the womb of Mount Hera. It came from the depth of darkness, first as a lamp giving spiritual warmth to the moths that were wandering in darkness then as a radiant light, more powerful than million suns put together. From a man who knew not how to read. What kind of a man was he? A soul created, moulded in the will of Allah, containing the patience of oceans and tranquillity of the universe. His led a life of obedience, patience, kindness and devotion in Mecca and Medina, but he inspired millions to live that life around the world from 611 AD till know. The essence of Islam as he revealed to us is not learning, debating on religion, hypothesis or theories to be proved right or wrong but it is Beauty of Morality (Husn-e-Akhlaq) or in contemporary terms human ethics.
To a non-believer, today Islam appears to be a rigid, unforgiving, inhumane religion. Oppose to it the Islam that our prophet (S.A.W) is not this religion that is perceived by many. To find Islam in our society today look towards a Muslim who make decisions according to its morality and remembers humanity and his/hers actions before taking them.
Mawlana Hazrat Rumi (R.A.) is one his poetry describes that essence of Islam with the help of Adan (Calling).
“Come, come, whoever you are. Wanderer, worshiper, lover of leaving. It doesn’t matter. Ours is not a caravan of despair. Come, even if you have broken your vows a thousand times. Come, yet again, come, come.”
A real Muslim lives with ethics and morality. A Muslim is merciful, do not hurt anyone. Their Islam resides in their hearts. We are all the searchers of that balm, that shadow, that salvation that get to our souls in this world full of hatred and blood. One should find that balm, if one’s to find some true peace and happiness in this world.
The prophet (S.A.W) all Muslims respect did not conquer the world with just words but deeds, love and righteousness. To enlighten the world we need to enlighten ourselves rather than becoming famous scholars and debating about Islam.
How can someone claim to understand the religion by book when they do not understand the essence of it? To understand the essence of Islam, reflection is the first step. Seeing within comes first everything else follows automatically. The day when one could not stand before oneself is the day they have Islam and Allah. But he still forgives and this forgiveness is our hope. Religious philosophy is the philosophy of hope, and Islam is full of it.
Divisions (Firkas) are thought patterns not Islam. Islam should start and end with one’s conscience. Miracles are shown by every prophet. Our Prophet (S.A.W) was a simple man, his greatest miracle was The Quran and his life to show an example to the world of “what is Islam”?
It is said that “practice leads to perfection”. Practicing just one kind deed that pleases Allah a day is Islam or more, as Allah extends one’s heart and grow it until one reaches the stage of being a Momin (true follower). To be a Muslim, in its spirit is to be the steadfast one. A Muslims should aspire to be humble like the earth.
Being a Muslim in present world, should make a human humble, steadfast, spiritual and fighting for right things with this humility. Violence is not the solution of every injustice, but helping those who have suffered same injustices to live a positive life and fight for their right with words, laws and righteousness.
With this Blog, we want people to think about how they could help people in need without violence.
I appear naive to argue with people of divine knowledge but I saw a shrine ruling the hearts of millions. I am not here to justify personification on Islam. I am here to take you on a journey to explore the secrets of reaching Allah Ta’ala.
Immortality is not about living always. It is about living in the hearts of fellowmen till the end of time. I found out this divine secret at the shrine of Hazrat Khawaja Moinuddin Chishty (R.A.)
Your first step into his shrine is the first step towards Allah Ta’ala. You can feel the mystical within from that first step. It is like Khawaja Sahib (R.A.) is seeing in your Soul and you have only one deepest desire to see his Dome. The white dome! The wise dome! This feeling is like falling in love with something for the first time. The shrine stands for peace, salvation, tranquillity, solitude and a reflection of one’s soul. It’s the point where one’s soul purifies and leave worldly pleasures behind. A person would confine all the sorrows, pains and happiness to their dearest friend Hazrat Moinuddin Chishty (R.A.) and in return they would get a confidence, (not a promise but a firm belief) and faith. It is like you have brought an old tattered cloth and get a new one in exchange which is as pure and untouched as a new born child.
Everyone say great Walis have shown miracles. The greatest miracle of Gharib Nawaz (R.A) was that he migrated not only to a different land but made his way into the hearts of people who spoke different languages and followed different Faiths. He showed humanity, and still people in this world people overlook humanity. Being human is the greatest miracle of the world now. It is very easy to love your own but very difficult to love all and be loved by all. From more than 800 years, Khawaja Sahib (R.A) is embracing the love and enlightening the souls. The souls like me are guided by the divine Chishty lamp which will kindle till the end of time.
Whenever I go to Ajmer I find myself. It is like coming home after a long battle. You’ll get Allah where “His” friends are. I sometimes think that is not what Prophet (S.A.W) taught us “Love towards All malice towards none.” Is it not what Allah says “love all and I shall love you”.

Gharib Nawaz (R.A.)
As salaam-o-was-salaam-o-alaikum ya Rasoolullah Sallallaho Alaihi was-salaam
WA ala habibeka WA as habibeka ya noor Allah sallalaho alaihi was salaam.
In this century, when we are so surrounded by Nafs and the culture of Nafs, where sins are tolerated and considered a symbol of status, we have forgotten what is Iman? We say the words but we do not mean them. When we are faced with our consequences, or our Iman is tested, we search for a shade to save us from ourselves and our problems. Those shades are Aulia Allah’s. O you who do not believe in Aulia’s, we feel sad for your loss and we thank Allah, even if we are Kufr or of different faith, our hearts have tasted of that peace of which you will never know.
Khwaja Moinuddin Chishty (R.A.) is the giver of love. When a mother loves her child when he/she is ill is a drop in the ocean. Those of who believe ourselves to be Chishty, or Muslim are the ones who give, even a medicine a day to our parents. He gave from his own to poor and needy, whether its wisdom, its love, its riches, its Iman and its Karam. He gives manifolds, because he is the Ameen (Keeper) of the wealth of Allah Ta’ala.
Love towards all malice towards none. For a human, it is very difficult to forgive others. Forgiveness is a balm. Once we forgive even if it a stone that hurt us and do not curse it back, and say it is just a stone, we should have seen it. Half of our pain is soothed because our heart is soothed. If we curse it, our pain increases. What about those hearts that do not have a drop of malice in them. The pure ones! It hurts them when someone is hurt.
Khwaja Moinuddin Chishty is the Aulia of heart. The word Moinuddin means spring or fountain of deen. According to Dalilul Arafeen written by Hazrat Khwaja Moinuddin Rasool Allah (S.A.W) bestowed “him (R.A.)” with viladat, and asked him (R.A.) to go to hind. Gharib Nawaz (R.A.) replied, “He did not know where it is?” S.A.W showed him the map. Moinuddin (R.A.) believed in Allah Ta’ala and came to Ajmer. He talked with them in his language but they understood in their own. It was a miracle of Allah.
Moinuddin imparted his spring of Iman to many, one learned patience and drank of it so much that they was called Sabri (R.A.), one drank of it so much that they lived on poverty and was called khaki (R.A.). Such is the state of this spring that they every corner of this Asian subcontinent is filled with spirituality. Wherever we turn, we find Allah in their shade.
Recently, I realised its easy to read Quran, sometimes easy to understand as well, but true religion is Tauheed and Hadees. Today we all are so misguided by Internet, TV, horoscopes, Faals, dreams etc. These all is not Iman. I recently realised that some things just happen in life and we do not have a reason for it and only that is Allah’s Raza. Allah gives signs, but we have to make ourselves capable of reading those signs outside our own thoughts.
We are not capable of showing the way to human only Allah and his Wallis are. And he show them to whom he wills.
“Ya Moinuddin Ya Moinulhaq!”
Khwaja Moinuddin devoted his life and after life in the service of Allah; in spreading love, peace and the message of Islam that is Love towards all, Malice towards none.
Allah Ta’ala does not discriminate and give sustenance, love, and blessings to those who do not believe in him as well as to those who do.
Khwaja Sahib, believed in this philosophy and devoted his life to all who needed HIM or came to HIM. HE never seized giving.
Whenever he saw someone in pain, he felt there pain a million time and served them without any consciousness of self.
His message is called “Prayer of Light or Roshni”
“Ilahi tabud Khurshido Mahi, Chirag – E-Chishtia Rahe Roshnai”
“Ya Illahi till the day sun and moon disperse their lights,
Let the Chishtia Lamp remain Kindle and enlighten this world.”

When I was in Ajmer last time, there is this cuckoo bird that sings after fajr namaz every morning. When I listened to her, I felt that my soul was clenched in my fist, and I did not want to look away from the white dome of khwaja sahib (R.A.). When I was there in his Dargah, I could not move one foot. I stood in the pardah khana and looked and looked into the dome with tears in my eyes and mirror in my soul. Flashes of my life were moving before my eyes, scene by scene, as if my soul was introducing me to Gharib Nawaz (r.a.). And my heart wanted to sing with her (cuckoo), sing in love, joy and inner satisfaction. It was the moment I crave every day of my life. I painfully try to think how it was everytime I remember Ajmer. I want people to share with me such moments so that we can all share with each other how we left our souls and heart to gharib nawaz (R.A.) in ajmer.
